inspiration.

Inspiration for outfits, houses, and just things I love to finish off this day. I just felt like I needed to say that people can say what they like about what you're doing, who you are, or what you love, but in the end, if you find something that inspires you why not just go with it? No one should not stop doing what they love/want because of judging people. These pictures inspired me today, and I hope they inspire you too..

sorrento surprises..

Whilst on our lovely beach getaway I got a bit spoiled... We walked the streets for hours, literally looking in every shop we passed by! Kyle got a new jacket for work, which he has needed for ages, and these were my special buys... 

 My new 'Maxim' puffer vest from Sorrento Girl..

 I love the fact that the fur covers the entire inside of the vest, so it keeps me cosy! I think it will be perfect to wear when walking, or running, or even just on home days to rug up!

 Boyfriend jeans! Finally! I never thought that they would suit me, but I tried these on in 'Trigger' the surf shop down there, and they were really flattering! I love how casual and comfy they are! 

 These will definitely be a great staple for autumn, winter and spring!

 Pony skin is in! My new furry phone case is so cute! I love the texture of it, and it's like an accessory in itself!

 Last but not least, my new make up bag from Sportsgirl! Much needed after the other one broke! Monocrome pallet was a must, especially with how dirty some make up bags can get!

beach weekend..

First of all we went to Melbourne for my brother's surprise 30th at the Meat and Wine Co in Hawthorn. The food was delicious, and the best steaks ever! I had a sautéed mushroom stack with haloumi, grilled vegetables, cabbage, beetroot and fig! So delicious!

Then we drove down to Sorrento for a relaxing weekend away in paradise. 

We woke up and went for breakfast at Buckleys, shopped, went walking to the beach, played trivial pursuit, and then went to see The Hangover 3. Pretty average compared to the others.... Then we went for a delicious dinner at Sorrento Pizza/Pasta. The waitresses danced and sang all over the place, and it was such a nice, friendly atmosphere! Definitely going back again! I got some new things too, but thats its own post! :)

PEFECTION

Today was the best day I've had in such a long time.. Not only did I finish all my major assignments for this week, but I somehow got lots of things! It's awesome! Today I handed in my major essay, then went to pick up presents for my brothers & my sister as they all have birthdays this week! The big 3 0! Wowies! Then I grabbed some sushi for Kyle, his mum and I and we sat in the park for his lunch break! Was so nice to sit in the sun and talk. Then we went for a stroll, got coffee and I picked up some new mascara and lippy (I've been using the oldest ones for way too long) at Sportsgirl. Then, to make my day even better, I got my nails painted, picked up my Swarovski necklace, and arrived home to find that all my orders from Tobi had arrived! Woo hoo! Best day! Now resting up before tomorrow which is uni, then dinner in Melbourne with my family, then heading off to Sorrento for the weekend with my love. Life's bliss!

 Scull scarf! So good, but smells like plastic at the moment... May need a wash!

 This baby will be my good luck charm for fashion school! It was the last thing I laybuyed before I quit my last job! So glad I did though!

Presents for la famille! So excited! I know they will love them! I love buying things for other people, its even more exciting than getting things yourself :)
