UGG'S

So this has been pondering my mind for weeks now (especially since winter has kicked in), do I invest in a pair of real UGG's? They range from about $100 - $200 + but I am just unsure whether I should by a pair of shoes for this much, that are essentially just slippers... I would love a pair of the chesnut brown ones, but would they be the most practical? And could I wear them publicly? I need help! Ladies, please! I'm going on a big shopping day Monday, so I need my mind made up by then!

It's been so long since I posted! My camera cord has gone missing so I haven't been able to do anything with any of my photos! Very annoying. I've been cramming for exams, been away for my sisters wedding in Port Douglas and with all that I've barely had a spare moment to put anything up on here! I collected these photo's of things I have been lusting after lately, or things that have inspired me, such as chunky knits, sushi, puppies, stripes, cut-out boots, leather and more! I have one last exam today and then I am free to focus more, so stay posted because I will be posting a whole lot more soon!

KNITS, LEATHER, SILK & SLOUCH.

As the weather gets colder, my wardrobe grows larger! I've been gradually getting more & more pieces to add to my winter wardrobe, and am just about set for the rest of winter (just one or two more boots maybe ;) ). Here's a few of the newbies I have got from Sportsgirl, The Iconic, and Bassike. All great stores, with amazing clothes at the moment! In saying this, I'm about to head off to sunny Queensland for the weekend so none of these will be handy for that! Oh well, here are some of my key winter peices, which not only will last for ages as they're great quality, but wont go out of fashion either, as they are such versatile, classic clothes! Enjoy!

 New black knitted ribbed jumper and white silk shirt from Sportsgirl! The shirt is so great and comfortable, and goes with everything! I know this will last me years, and will be great for Autumn, Winter & Spring! The jumper is so cosy and warm, and I love this type of knit jumper, as it looks so cosy and wintery!

 Leather leggings and cut out boots are a must-have for me this season! They're so comfy and go with everything!

 This coat is the best thing I have ever brought! It's Cooper St, and I got it off The Iconic.. The wool blend is so warm and blocks all cold air that comes my way! I love how it isn't just black, as the grey mixes it up, and can be dressed up or down! 

Last, but certainly not least - Bassike Slouch Jersey Pants! I finally gave into temptation and brought these! Although they were a tad expensive for what many see are "tracky pants", they are the best buy I have ever brought! I haven't taken them off since they came, and I don't plan on it either! I think I need the striped ones as well.... They're made of organic cotton, and are so insulating and warm! Ah just can't get enough!

HOLIDAY COMFORTS

This week (first week of holidays) has been the laziest week of my life. I watched all of Gossip Girl, Sex and the City, and lazed around all day! I also went shopping with a friend from uni, where I spent too much, but it was so fun, and nice to have a good shopping buddy! I brought a new top from the Styling Bird in Bendigo. The label is "Three of Something" and they have the most beautiful, warm tops ever! I love how it is so comfortable, and basic, yet the assymetrical hemline and suede buckles on the shoulders jazz it up, so you don't look so plain! Here are a few photo's from my lazy days, and a new post will be up soon with outfits, new clothes, and accessories!

 Frosty mornings - I wake up everyday and make egg's for Kyle before work, but it's been getting harder as the days get colder!

 Just felt like salad for lunch so I put some dressing and pepper on lettuce - not filling, but exactly what I needed to freshen me up!

 Cosy knits, leather leggings, bed socks and slippers is what I have been living in all week!

 New pillows to add to our bed! "Bonsoir" and "Paris" - of course!

ZARA & BASSIKES

Just a quick post about my favourite things at the moment - my new, white, Zara skort, which can be styled in so many different ways! It is so versatile, and can be dressed up and down as shown in some of these photos. I especially love it teamed with a basic tee and some sandals - instant chic! My other favourite is the brand 'Bassike' - the clothes are so beautiful, and all made from organic cotton! I just brought these black 'slouch jersey pants' which I can tell I am going to wear non stop! I love how they can also be styled up or down, and comfort is all the go for me this winter! Both of which, I will be taking to Port Douglas next weekend! Not long now!! x
